Jonathan Coulton returned to Europe. Last Saturday he played a fantastic concert at the Academy 2 in Dublin, Ireland. I had a splendid time along with 200 Irish people. The audience sang along like there was no tomorrow. We even got an unplanned encore. There just wasn’t a weak moment in the whole show. I wish I could indulge in all the little details and communicate better the awesomeness of JoCo. But I really don’t know where to begin and where to end and how to describe the simple fact that I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Here’s the setlist:

Vergangenen Freitag habe ich die Hooters live im Stuttgarter Theaterhaus erlebt. Es war ein grandioses Konzert! Die Band war in Topform und das Publikum begeistert. Schlagzeuger David Uosikkinen schrieb später in seinem Weblog: “Tonights show in Stuttgart was the best of the tour. We are hitting our groove.” Mein Favorit war “All You Zombies”. Doch auch alle anderen Stücke waren schlichtweg genial! Rob Hyman war im Gegensatz zum letztjährigen Auftritt bestens bei Stimme. Eric Bazilian hatte ein unglaubliche Austrahlung, sang mit purer Leidenschaft, spielte Gitarre, Mandoline, Bass, Mundharmonika, Blockflöte, Maultrommel(!) und Saxophon, und verausgabte sich dermaßen, dass er gleich zweimal sein durchgeschwitztes Hemd wechseln muüte. Auch der Rest der Band sprudelte vor Spielfreude fast über und bot eine erstklassige Liveshow.

On Thursday I saw Eläkeläiset live in Munich playing an awesome concert.
